The Winsor and Newton Artists' Oil Filbert Brush #8 has a flat head with oval tip with a brush head size of 14mm wide x 33mm long.. It creates a broad mark with a soft edge and is similar to the Extra Long Filbert. These brushes have a shorter, thick shape for extra control. The brushes have unique, double bodied long handles for exceptional balance. The elegant black matte handles feature gun metal ferrules that minimize light reflection when painting.

About Winsor and Newton Filbert Brushes

Handcrafted using the finest interlocked Chungking bristles, the natural curve of the bristle provides excellent spring and is extremely resilient, retaining its shape far longer than other brushes. The brushes are stiff, the bristles flagged (i.e. split at the ends) allowing large amounts of color to be carried and applied evenly to the surface.
